I am often asked how to send email from ClearCase triggers. This in every instance involves having the ability to send email from a command line invocation. This is actually quite simple to do, but most people only know how to send email using an the application GUI with their companies email programs like Eudora, Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes.
