MOTD
The MOTD (Message Of The Day) can be blank or populated and provides a method for the
policy maker to communicate important messages to their ClearCase users. Any text placed in the field
is displayed as a tail on many question or advise dialog boxes. The message is displayed
for both ClearCase non-web users and web users. For example:
;Final build for 3.8 tonight... Please check in all code.;;
Would cause the MOTD to appear on many dialogs that your ClearCase users would see during
their use of ClearCase.
