With iApproveIt, managers, administrators, peers or other approvers can give "instant" approvals or rejections that are embedded in the process and forcibly adhered to by users. No longer do you have to have to wait for someone to approve some action with slow cumbersome email; no longer do you have to omit Managerial or peer-to-peer approval for actions because email is too slow. With iApproveIt, you can get instant Approval from one or many people. Get instant "approval and advice" from your manager while they're in a meeting, at lunch or on vacation (if your bold). Someone wants to start the "build", which requires the "unanimous" approval of the "Release Engineers" for the department. They start the build script, which ask all "Release Engineers" for their approval. ==> So in order for the build to start each of the "Release Engineers" must "approve" the request. This means that each "Release Engineer" approved the action in real-time on their device on a screen like this: <== All "actions" you are involved in are organized and easy for you to access at a glance. ==> There are three (3) types of "request": "Permission" or "voting" request "Advice" request "Notification Only" request "Permission" or "Voting" request When a permission request is sent to more than one users the associated action can only be performed if the required approval (for the action type) is given by the members of the project for the particular action. The action types are: vote action type "Voting" condition required for approval any approval from "any" one of the project members first approval from the "first" responder from the project members majority approval from a "majority" of the project members unanimous approval from "all" of the project members objection approved if "none" of the project members object "Advice" request Administrators can also send a advice request to project members; these messages query the Project Members for "advice" that is pertanent to the Action being performed. The single "advice" message type is defined below: advice action type Performs this action advice informs "all" of the project members that this action has completed or is about to start and queries each Project Member for "advice". It returns the "advice" of the first responding Member before proceeding. It does not inhibit the invoking action. "Notification Only" request Aditionally, administrators can also send a notify only message to project members; these messages serve only to notifiy group memebers that an action has taken completed or is about to be started. The notify only messages are: notification only action type Performs this action tell informs "all" of the project members that this action has completed or is about to start. It does not inhibit the invoking action. gripe informs "all" of the project members that this action has completed or is about to start. It "always inhibits the invoking action.
