Most organizations would not need more than two licenses for any ABS product. One license would suffice for an organization that uses ClearCase on only one architecture (i.e. UNIX or Windows); for interop configurations two licenses are required (one for windows and one for UNIX).

ClearReplica requires a ClearTrigger and ClearReplica license per development site and no license for a backup site. ClearWeb is licensed per ClearCase Web-server so again most companies would only need one license regardless of how many ClearCase web-users. Usually only one license of ClearManage is needed for a company regardless of how many VOBs they have.

So the cost of using ClearTrigger, ClearReplica, ClearWeb or ClearManage is the same if you have 3 ClearCase users or 3000, or if you use the products for 3 VOBs or 3000. ClearTrigger, ClearReplica and ClearWeb are and have always been an enterprise-wide solution.

The cost of QuickStart includes all travel (limited to continuous 48 US States). For this all-inclusive rate, an ABS consultant will arrive to install our products, convert or add any needed triggers, integrate the tools to ClearCase Menus and HomeBase and provide mentoring and training on the tools.
